The 12-month project "Creativity for Social Impact," initiated and carried out by a group of five young people, has come to an end. Fundacja Jedność supported the group at every stage of the project, providing organizational and administrative assistance, meeting space, and volunteer support.
Over the course of the year, 30 young people took part in the project, developing their talents in music and literary circles. A total of 384 hours of meetings, workshops, and rehearsals with mentors were held.
The young people organized 5 art events, attended by a total of 163 guests. These included poetry evenings, a chamber concert, theatrical Christmas readings, and an event combining poetry with music.
We published 5 music recordings and 17 posts on Instagram and Facebook, which gathered over 7,500 views.
However, the most important outcomes of the project are the growth of participants' self-confidence, the development of their artistic skills, new relationships, and greater courage in publicly presenting their own creative work. At the end of the project, each participant prepared an individual development plan for the next six months, with the support of the team and mentors.
Although the project has officially ended, both groups will continue their activities. Fundacja Jedność will continue to provide them with space for meetings, rehearsals, and the implementation of further initiatives.
